I started in the radio business in 2003 with D&H Media, Inc. as a night DJ, Jaggy Jeff™, on the Top 40 station J-98.5-FM in Warrensburg, MO.

     D&H Media owns the only 2 radio stations in Johnson County, MO, KWKJ 98.5-FM and KOKO 1450-AM. Listen Live at warrensburgradio.com

     So, my name. 1 of the owners of the stations gave me my alter ego name. I used to drive an old Jaguar, so he thought he'd be cute and use it with my name. Jaggy Jeff™ was born, and it stuck. Don't get me wrong, it's fun. People call me out on the street, and I answer. I'll pretty much answer to anything.

     At D&H Media I also helped direct the marketing initiatives for both radio stations, including:

• Branding and station ID; target market/demographics/ratings research

• Working with advertising agencies; coordinating promotions/events/programs

• Prospecting, selling, writing script and producing radio ads; maintaining client files

 

     Currently I produce & host an afternoon radio show 1pm-6pm Monday through Friday on Good Time Oldies 1450 KOKO-AM.
