Bio

Jeff has called the stage his second home since he won his first silver dollar in a county fair at age 3.

He grew up in a musical family that played and sang every single day in the home.  His mother, an accomplished pianist, and his father, the leader of the band, created the Imboden Family Singers, with themselves and their 5 boys, performing throughout the Midwest.  Jeff was the lead singer, as well as an accomplished guitarist and drummer, on occasion playing the trumpet, French horn, piano, banjo and mandolin, with his brothers carrying the load on all the other instruments and vocals.  He had his own Rock and Roll band, and played with local Country & Western bands, before majoring in Vocal Music at then Central Missouri State University, where he was Director of the college’s main performance group The One & Only Singers.

Jeff honed his business acumen as a District Manager for American Family Insurance, opening and managing Wine/101 in Warrensburg, Mo and at his own establishment, Jaggy’s Supper Club, where he performed on a nightly basis.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies & Psychology from the University of Central Missouri (UCM), as well as several professional certifications.

Jeff is the Business & Information Specialist for the Warrensburg Parks & Recreation Department, where he is in charge of Business Operations and Marketing. He was previously the Manager of the Office of the Performing Arts at UCM, where he was responsible for the Performing Arts Series and the Central Tickets Box Office, and also served as the onsite manager for the university's largest performance venue, Hendricks Hall.  He is a professional Voiceover Artist and he hosts a daily Radio Show on 1450KOKO-AM as Jaggy Jeff®.  He currently performs solo in several different musical genres – jazz, pop, country – as well as with combos and Big Bands, including the UCM Big Band, the KC group The Moonlight Serenaders, the Warrensburg Community Band and the popular Kansas City cover band, the T. Ross Band.  His claim to fame is performing as a back-up singer for Kenny Loggins during his Midwest tour in 2007 at Harrah’s Casino in Kansas City.

Jeff currently serves as the city liaison for the City of Warrensburg’s Arts Commission.  He is a member of the Association of Strategic Marketing and AEP, the Association of Entertainment Professionals.

He and his wife Marilyn call Warrensburg their home with their 2 wonderful children who have given them 6 beautiful grandchildren.
